While you can use your the PERFORMANCE ACCELERATOR without realtime software, to get the most benefit, we recommend you practice with your CAT, captioning or realtime text entry software as often as possible. It is very important to point out that you can use ANY realtime software with the PERFORMANCE ACCELERATOR Series! It is completely non-CAT software specific!

We also think that you will find the PERFORMANCE ACCELERATOR Series a great help in building your steno, captioning and other dictionaries. So, even if you are not a Captioner, for example, do not hesitate to purchase a CAPTION ACCELERATOR volume for yourself. You will get great experience writing different types of materials and great dictionary building materials, too!

If you are currently a pre-professional student or a court reporter transitioning to captioning training, it is very important to point out that the PERFORMANCE ACCELERATOR Series is designed to complement your program of study. It is not designed as a course by itself.
