Imagine an actor playing a key role in a great theatrical production! Every other actor in the production depends on the lead player to perform flawlessly. If he or she does not, the play cannot go on. As a realtime reporter in a judicial or deposition setting, you are that lead performer. Without your flawless performance, the deposition or proceeding cannot go on.

Because providing realtime translation in a judicial setting is so akin to performing, Linda Fisher, well-known New York Certified Realtime Reporter, teacher and trainer, has put everything you need to know to deliver flawless realtime to your clients in a single package –
Setting the Stage for Realtime.

Organized like the acts in a classical performance, Setting the Stage for Realtime begins with the process of preparing for the realtime session and then takes the student through a dress rehearsal to a simulated "opening day" in the deposition and realtime environment.

Access time for the course is 14 calendar days from the first date of use. The National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) has approved Setting the Stage for Realtime for 1.15 CEUs. If you choose to apply for CEUs, you will need to follow the credit application procedures described in the course and pay the appropriate NCRA application fee. You may download only one set of application materials per course.

Some machine shorthand reporter state and/or professional associations also accept NCRA approved courses toward the fulfillment of state Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) continuing education requirements. If you have any questions, contact your state association or e-mail us at education@stenograph.com.

Please note: Courses are not refundable once user ID and password have been entered in the login page. If you continue to access any course for longer than the 14-day access period or if you download more than one CEU application package, your credit card may be charged an additional access fee.

User IDs and passwords may not be shared with other users.
